Kathryn Sucher, Sc.D, R.D.N is a Principal at Cocofood LLC. She has her B.S., M.S. and Sc.D in Nutritional Science from the University of California (Berkeley), University of California (Davis) and Boston University Medical Center. She is Professor Emeritus at San Jose State University Department of Nutrition and Food Science where she was also Director of the Dietetic Internship Program and Director of the the Student Success Center at the College of Applied Science and Arts. She is the author of three text books including Food and Culture, 7th Edition. She has written and presented extensively on cultural aspects of food.

Peter Cocotas, MS. is a Principal at Cocofood LLC. He has his B.S degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his MS in Food Science from the University of California (Davis). Most recently, he was Vice President and owner at Pharmaceutical and Food Specialists Inc, an international consulting company specializing in food safety, regulatory compliance and validation where he consulted on issues of food safety on five continents. He was recognized as a Process Authority by the United States Food and Drug Association and the California Almond Board. He was accredited as an HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) instructor by US regulatory bodies and taught courses in the US, China, Japan, Mexico and South America. He also taught packaging development and was a program developer at San Jose State University.
